Solid knife with a good grip, and I think for this money one gets e very good knife. I recommendation for all beginners, or for people who look for a cheaper decent knife! I also like the two big bolts in the handle, which should be put into the Schrade Reckon as well in my opinion instead of the four small ones in the Reckon. No problems with the AUS8 steel so far. Sharpness out of the box is sufficient, but using a grit 6000+ stone, one can make it razor blade sharp and cut paper easily. One comment on the sheath. The knife has to be pushed hard into the sheath to get it locked, and to release the knife from the sheath is problematic. The knife cannot be pushed out using your thumb, but one needs two hands to get it out and when one does, there is a big risk of deeply cutting your hand / fingers, which happened to me and already foresaw. So this is not safe. Please keep that in mind.

Zoekt u iets subtiel, iets verfijnds met een beetje snobsppeal en een zekere je ne sais quoi? Dan moet u hier niet wezen. Dit stuk gereedschap is voor het betere hak en kliefwerk. Of het nou een boom is of een hertekadaver dat in handzame porties dient te worden bijgewerkt, deze jongen is er prima voor geschikt. Wel een beetje opletten met de greep want ongetrainde handen zullen bij zwaar gebruik wel last gaan krijgen van de hotspots. Misschien even handschoentje gebruiken.
