I have owned a number of Byrd knives (from Spyderco) and this is my first true Spyderco and my first fixed blade from them. The knife is beautifully made, the handle is comfortable and well shaped. Aesthetically, it's a good looking knife with an eye catching handle. The blade is sharp out of the factory as expected. It is a great knife for a multitude of uses. On the negative side, whilst the sheath is well made, snug fitting and sits comfortably on the belt, it is not of the highest quality nor supple leather. However at this price point it is more than adequate. Overall, I would buy this again and as a gift. Tremendous value for money and the usual Spyderco quality. Highly recommended.
